There are a ton of absolutely gorgeous places to take photos around Pensacola...
Seriously, I did a Senior session on the literal side of the road last year, haha! But seriously, it's not hard to find a pretty spot for some stunning photos here in Pensacola. However, because we're a tourist destination, I do find that a lot of visitors and locals alike tend to gravitate toward the same spots most of the time. I get asked all the time accompanying a photo I took, "where is this??" So, because I'm not really all that interested in gatekeeping anything, let's talk about them!
Pensacola Beach
Ok, this one is silly, I get it, haha. Just in case though, if you ever wondered exactly where these are, we can talk about it!
This little walkover featured here is Park West. There are dune walkovers ALL over Pensacola Beach, but I love this one because there is easy parking right nearby.
Secluded
I love a good spot where there are no buildings in the background, like this one.
Dunes and architecture
Sometimes though, the dunes and beachy hotels are a fun backdrop as well!
the pier
Whether right under it or nearby with the pier as your backdrop, if you're staying near Casino Beach, this beauty is a fun icon to include.
Shore
When you're facing the shoreline and the horizon....it all looks the same :)
Shoreline Park
This is a cult classic around here. Tucked away in Gulf Breeze, this spot is super popular for local photographers and their clients alike because WHO DOESN'T LOVE THAT DRIFTWOOD TREE. I get it. This location can be tricky if there are multiple photographers trying to shoot here at once, so I like to make sure we don't focus our whole session here so we don't monopolize it, but a quick stop in for a few photos--YES.
There's more here than meets the eye...
There's a nearby landing spot that's actually gorgeous too, it's newly built as a trailhead and the light filters through these trees so warm and pretty as the evening winds down.
Woodsy and beachy in one neat swoop
If you're looking for a little variety without a lot of travel, or water access without the fanfare of the gulf, this spot is really great.
Downtown Pensacola
Let's shift gears away from the water a little bit, because this area has much more to offer than the beach!
How fun and iconic is the Graffiti Bridge??
Around every corner
This is Palafox street, just dripping with cool architecture and filtering the light around in SUCH a stunning way.
Rooftops
There are a couple of fun rooftops and garages to get up "high" over the city. Definitely a cool perspective!
Seriously, every corner
There is no shortage of gorgeous down here to work with. If you're looking for an urban vibe, let's go on an adventure!
Tucked away
Come prepared to wander a little bit and we can go into some really cool tucked away spaces that make for unique photos!

I love Seniors Downtown, can ya tell?

Fort Pickens
This is the PERFECT blend of beach and urban. There is SO much texture and interest here, and it's very very easy to get a wide variety of images without traipsing around too much. Great for kids--they love Fort Pickens!
Dark and moody
If you're looking for more drama,
Fort Pickens is your girl.
iconic arches
These are a Pensacola staple, everyone loves the arches! For good reason, the light here is always very pretty and visually they make GREAT wall art!
water access
The sun sets over this little jetty in such a pretty way. If you want to dip your toes in for some more classic beach shots as well, this is quick and easy to access!
This is a drop in the bucket.

a very small look at some of the most popular places, but I am always up for adventure and working in new places! Tell me your dreams and let's make them happen.
