It is supremely nerve-wracking, and also the biggest honor ever, to photograph the family of another photographer.
There's an inherent scrutiny, you know?? Of course there is, especially when you so deeply admire their work. The Mangums were such a dreeeaaaamm, though. Their grown children are as you would expect, so comfortable in front of the camera and taking small directions, and the whole family is just so fun and not afraid to be silly. It was just the sweetest experience with them, and GRACIOUS was this sunset at Shoreline Park stunning...that light showed OUT.
I also go to test out some new gear for Ann's family photos too, and I was HOOKED, I'm so grateful for it!
